Member PowHER Hour

PowHER Hours are in-person, member-led networking happy hours designed to bring women in sports together to build meaningful connections, share experiences, and strengthen community. As a member or partner, you can host a PowHER Hour in your city and create a space where women in sports can connect, grow, and support one another. Ready to make it happen? Hosting Criteria:

To host a PowHER Hour, the following requirements must be met:

  • Event must be co-branded and co-marketed with Women Leaders in Sports.
  • Must be hosted by a current/active member or partner (although non-members are welcome to the event and encouraged to come!)
  • Host must create an RSVP form and share event information with Women Leaders post-event.
  • A minimum of 3–4 weeks notice is required to provide deliverables.

As the Host, You Will:

  • Determine the date, time, and location of the event.
  • Manage the registration/RSVP process and share links with Women Leaders.
  • Target and market the event to women in your area using your network and a list provided by Women Leaders.
  • Share a full list of registrants, RSVPs, and attendees with Women Leaders following the event.
  • Help us stay connected by sharing a list of registrants and attendees with Women Leaders after the event.

The Women Leaders Team Will: 

  • Amplify your posts by resharing on Women Leaders' social media channels.
  • Design a custom graphic for use in email and social promotions.
  • Provide email language and messaging to help you spread the word.
  • Share a list of Women Leaders members in your area for further outreach and promotion.
  • Send a PowHER Hour Kit including coasters, bracelets, and pennants.
  • Feature your event on the Women Leaders website event listings.
