  • Membership Operations & Engagement Junior Associate // Women Leaders in Sports - Kansas City, MO

    Women Leaders is currently seeking applicants for a dynamic Membership Operations & Engagement Junior Associate to join its energetic and collaborative team in Kansas City. This is a full-time, 12-month, paid position, beginning immediately with an annual salary of $32,000 and with the option to immediately make contributions to a 401(k) plan with employer matching. This position will dual report to the Chief Experience Officer and the Director of Membership Growth.     Junior Associate duties will include, but are not limited to:

    Assisting in all aspects of the membership lifecycle, including individual and institutional membership retention, recruitment, and overall engagement. Promoting member opportunities and benefits, including virtual programming, Member Circles, Rising Stars, Happy Hours, and more.


    General Responsibilities:

    • Partner with the Membership team to support member recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives through effective CRM administration and operational support.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for member and customer inquiries, delivering timely, professional, and solution-oriented service.
    • Support the administration of the Women Leaders CRM by maintaining accurate member records, processing membership and event transactions, and ensuring data integrity.
    • Assist in the administration of ENGAGE, the organization's online community platform, including content management, user access, and member engagement.
    • Assist with all Virtual member benefits including but not limited to; Circle calls, Live Chat, Career Catalyst, Access to Experts, etc.
    • Assist with Leadership Programming events (in-person and virtual).
    • Serve as the primary administrator for the Women Leaders Job Board, including posting positions and supporting hiring organizations.
    • Collaborate across departments to support organizational initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills with proven attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working with a CRM or other related systems and/or a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving systems and processes.
    • Interest in supporting the mission of Women Leaders in Sports and working in the sports industry.


    Associate Period:

    1 year from the start date
