This role is the chief architect for outreach in Cal’s digital ecosystem, leveraging email and grassroots marketing. By orchestrating a high-impact outreach strategy, you will transform Cal fans into loyal followers and broaden our fanbase into a revenue-generating growth engine and community pillar. This role aligns internal units and spearheads the integration of emerging tech, like AI and mobile platforms, to create a seamless athlete and fan journey that mobilizes elite recruits and global brands.
By cultivating and mentoring a scalable student workforce, they ensure a sophisticated, brand consistency that elevates Cal’s national reputation and drives measurable ROI across all platforms.
This role, in partnership with the Assistant Athletic Director, Digital Ecosystems, will craft and reimagine an outreach strategy for Cal Athletics that is in alignment with all Cal sport-specific needs and advances the Cal brand.
