The Donor Experience Internship provides hands-on experience supporting donor engagement, stewardship, and event execution within a collegiate athletics foundation. This role is ideal for students interested in fundraising, event management, hospitality, or relationship-based work in athletics or nonprofit organizations. Interns will assist with premium seating and event operations across multiple athletic venues, including football, baseball, and basketball facilities. Responsibilities include supporting suite operations, assisting with logistics for a wide range of donor-facing events such as social tours, sport reunions, sport-specific fundraising events, facility dedications, and special recognition celebrations. Interns will also help prepare donor communications and stewardship materials, including efforts tied to leadership giving societies, and assist with event check-in, guest experience, and post-event follow-up. In addition, the internship will conduct research on donor engagement best practices and support projects that enhance the overall donor experience. Through this internship, students will gain exposure to high-level event operations, relationship stewardship, hospitality coordination, and project management, while developing professional communication skills and learning to work collaboratively within a team environment. This internship offers meaningful, real-world experience and insight into donor relations and event execution within a major collegiate athletics organization.
