The South Atlantic Conference (SAC), an NCAA Division II member conference headquartered in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Commissioner for Championships, Administration and External Operations.
This position is responsible for coordinating and administering the Conference’s currently 24 championships and sport governance operations, while leading SAC external operations initiatives. The Assistant Commissioner oversees the planning and execution of championship events, sport policy manuals, awards programs, and selected governance and officials’ functions. External operations responsibilities include branding, marketing, digital media, and fan and community engagement in alignment with the Conference’s mission and strategic goals.
Reporting directly to the Commissioner, the Assistant Commissioner works collaboratively with Conference staff to support strategic initiatives and deliver high-quality championship and student-athlete experiences.
